A couple of my photos were featured in this week’s Impossible Project newsletter - April Showers Bring Instant Flowers. I’ve been shooting lots of spring blossoms lately. These particular monochrome flowers are PX100 UV+ shots I made on my recent trip to NYC.
I don’t mention it as often as I should, because I don’t want to be too self-promotey, but my work has been featured in a bunch of Impossible newsletters recently, including The Eight Wonders of the Impossible World (March 6, 2012) and Take a Walk on the Wide Side (February 21, 2012).
It’s always humbling to be included with amazing instant photographers from around the world. The Impossible Project does a wonderful job of spotlighting and connecting artists who use their film … It’s refreshing to work with a company that really gets it.
Adam Goldberg is shooting some gorgeous photos (mostly instant film!) for Landrover. Not sure what I love more … His work, or the fact that a major brand is working with an analog photographer. Viva la instant!

Kodak phases out digital businesses, keeps film alive (British Journal of Photography)
Why, you ask? Because film is the division that’s making money and has potential for growth. Let’s hope they don’t repeat the mistakes that the Polaroid corporation made in the early 2000s.
We’re meeting with our financial planner this afternoon, and I’ve been putting off completing the worksheet and making copies of documents. I just told myself if I get all my “work” done, I will let myself go out for a photowalk this afternoon.
At least I’m using my photo addiction for good, not evil?
