As if you could stop it.
Fuji Natura Classica with Kodak Portra 400vc film (35mm developed & scanned by Old School Photo Lab)
The Impossible NYC Space — I shot this with my Natura Classica and Fuji Superia 400 film. At least I think that’s the type of film I used. I went through a bunch of rolls in NYC and sort of lost track …
I posted this image last night on my new “shake” over at mlkshk. Seems like a fun way to share photos, and reminds me of Tumblr in many ways.
While everyone’s freaking out about the impending release of Fuji’s X100, I’ve been shooting up a storm with my Natura Classica, and wishing that Fuji would spend just a fraction of their energy promoting their fantastic films and analog cameras.
I shot this photo a couple weeks ago with the Fuji Natura Classica and Superia 1600 film.
I think I may have accidentally stumbled upon a new photo project for the new year …
Yesterday, I loaded my Olympus OM-1n with a fresh roll of film and went downtown. I decided I was going to shoot until I ran out of film, and I wouldn’t let myself come home before that. I think because I’ve been shooting so many Polaroids, I’ve gotten used to unnecessarily limiting the number of photos I take, and I’d rather shoot with abandon in 2011.
Even though a lot of the shots are sort of mundane, I was surprisingly thrilled when I got my photos back from the one-hour lab in my neighborhood. Which made me think, what if I commit to shooting a roll of film every week for the next year? It wouldn’t be hard to do, and if I plan my shooting and development for the weekend, it will work perfectly with The Saturdays of 2011 project.
Hooray for new photography challenges! Especially those that keep film development labs up and running. Anyone else planning fun photography projects for 2011?
