Amen, sister.

Here’s an idea. On the anniversary of Dr King’s “I have a dream” speech, turn off the spectacle on TV and read something by Martin Luther King Jr. Or go online and find a documentary about the March on Washington. Even better, go outside and do something to increase tolerance and love in this country. Help a neighbor, take some food to a foodbank, support a local group raising money for a school. Pick some flowers from your yard and give them to someone you admire. Anything is preferable to giving energy and ratings and ad dollars to Thou Who Shall Not Be Named. It just elevates his voice in the national discourse.

Amen, sister.
